i was just reading royal auto,
![]() A barrel of crude oil contains 159 litres. From 27% of that they get petrol, then 10% kerosene, 15% diesel, 22% lubricating oil, 16% cylinder oils, and 10% tar. So from every barrel they get 42 litres of petrol, for every dollar a barrel of oil rises, the cost of petrol should only rise by 27 cents for that 42 litres of petrol, which is 0.6 cents per litre. Even if it rose by $5, thats only 3 cents per litre...
