It's all been said but I'll say it again.
-When I had an auto license I was able to drive manual legally with a fully licensed driver in the passenger seat (while displaying P plates). This was quite silly at times, especially when I legally drove my sister to a quiet area to give her a lesson in how to drive a manual car. -You can redo the red P's test in a manual for a fee. I did this, it is a full repeat of the original test, however I would be inclined to think they would be more lenient. -As soon as you pass your green P's test, auto restriction is lifted.
