Thanks all for your responses, very insightful and have given me more to think about.

That's the temptation. Something I should enjoy (test drive pending). Plus the idea of something new, that isn't a large Falcon, is exciting. Something small with a lot of go.

Join up over at Ozrenaultsport Australia if you need any more info. Even if you're in Shep, you'll find something (Mt Beauty, Hotham, buffalo etc are all just up the Hume aren't they??) close-ish by.
Enjoy.

There's nothing wrong with being biased. Is there anything else you would mention about getting an RS? I'm probably looking to make it my daily drive.
Also thanks for the suggestions on those places, not too familiar with the area outside the general Shepparton area.

I've never done a track day before, but with a Megane it might be worth looking into. Sounds fun!

My point exactly. I was up there earlier this week for an interview and it was long straights, pretty boring. Made me question the possibility of a Megane again, as you said it is not exactly designed for that. If I was being sensible I'd either stick with my Fairmont Ghia on LPG or upgrade to a newer Falcon. But I don't want more of the same either...

Haha, had a good laugh with this one, but true. I recently watched a few things on YouTube regarding manuals, a guy listed it as a pro as 95% of Americans can't drive manual (similar stat here too).
