BMW lost the plot a decade ago. That is why they are losing ground to Audi who are now my prefered luxury car brand.

If BMW did do a MetroCity or whatever they are going to call it in RWD, compared to it's FWD competitors would be slow thanks to its weight, tiny on the inside and would be as efficient as a XR8 towing a caravan up a hill - defeating the purpose of a small car.
BUT - it wouldn't be RWD, so lets not let facts get in the way... |

Well one FWD little thing would be okay for BMW. They still would be the champions of RWD and straight 6 engines.
