I purchased a Dato 1200 wagon at the age of 15. Got it for $250 bux! The engine lasted about 3 weeks after I got my licence, I flogged it too hard trying to rip a few skids and sent parts of piston rings into the combustion chambers!

17 years old,
HQ Premier 253, I came home from work and saw her sitting in the driveway, my sis told me to take it for a drive so I did and I loved my first car. $2200 of my hard earned and worth every cent way back in um . . . um '82 |

Dad gave me his old NF Fairlane when i was 15, nearly 19 now and on my third car. (i bought the other two myself btw.)

16 years and 3 months...
1. 66 VW Bug $150, lasted 2 months......(turned it into a beach buggy) 2. 67 Fiat 1500 $200, lasted 2 1/2 months......traded it in on >>>>>> 3. 72 XA GT Coupe $2900, lasted a bit longer than the other two, but i won't say here what happened to it for fear of retribution.....
