I went the GTP Manual for the beauty and the beast factor. The executive rocket i like to think of it! And i know it should be auto to be true to that statement, but i want to have some fun with it too!

GT-P Auto, a manual is to much bother when using the phone, and the boss is just fine with the auto.

Definately the F6 Typhoon, manual. It looks the part and doesnt disappoint in the performance area either. So what more needs to be said other than i have majority with the same opinion.

Out of the options id go a BF GT manual, yellow, and do some engine work. Love those stripes and that bonnet bulge. Wouldnt buy a gtp tho, doesnt sound right. Why buy one of these in an auto? nothin like shiftin cogs in a big Ford V8. Otherwise i'd buy another classic GT

BF GT for me aswell. Like those who have earlier said, the 'p' doesn't look right. Has to be a manual too, nothing like a nice sounding V8 with a manual booming around Mt Panorama on ya days off and a Falcon GT would be welcome in my shed anyday. I'll get a GT one day.

so much for the GT being the flagship of the Ford Fleet.. THe F6 is by far more popular which somewhat surprises me

I don't know... I was expecting it. We are, after all, performance car enthusiasts, right? F6 simply provides the best performance. Plus its cheaper, which helps too.

I pick the GT manual. Why pay more for a car that you going to mod & change, plus the left over money means more for the mods. Manual because i gotta give the left leg some thing to do!

Suppose im just lucky enough to be a part of a group of guys that go down to wakefeild race way every 6 months with Andrew Mediecke, who used to race at Bathurst ect ect and also owns a Ford dealership at Port Macquarie on the NSW mid north coast. We take down a GT-P manual .... XR 6 manual.... and a Turbo XR 6...... amongst all the other cars the owners take. Ive got to thrash all these cars around the track, and its just an awesome day. BUT.......id still rather own the car i have in my garrage !!! Its impossible to drive it to work every day as its a half hour drive each way and the fuel cost would make me broke in 2 weeks lol, but it just doesnt beat the fealing jumping into the XB and hearing the rumble of the 351. Sorry guys...call me a dinosour or an old fart !! Awesome cars that you guys are talking about...no doubt....But the old X series clasics is the vehicle for me.

None of them, why? Because for that sort of money i'd buy something that will hold its value and appreciate in value. But if i HAD to buy a new car it would be a Chrysler 300C Hemi.

F6 Auto.

Reason being that it's faster and cheaper than the other options. I also think it looks the best with the 19s. Plus, if I ever got bored of the performance the mod potential is off the scale.

I chose the BF GT-P manual. Gotta got with the manual cause i like driving them, auto is so boring. And GT-P so i can chuck on an aftermarket exhaust and listen to that sweet note and the P cause it has all the luxury's. As said not the fastest but very refined all round and still a strong performer.

For me it's one of those decisions thats too hard to make! one for each day of the week and a spare for track days would be best of course, ha ha ha. I ended up picking the VZ clubby manual, but if I had to make the decision for real I'd be agonising over it for months, such is the quality and performance of these aussie muscle cars

The problem with the GT's are they are so heavy, trim 250 kg off the porkers, but they still look horn. I reckon they should build the GT as a true racer without all that old-man luxury crap, and have the GTP for those who want the comforts.

The Typhoon is nice, but doesnt have that 'seductive' rumble

i would go for either the VZ Clubsport R8 or F6 Typhoon Auto. If money was not issue i would get both in a flash.

BF GT-P Man for me. It's hard to go past the sound of the best V8 to go in an aussie production car & the bulge that goes with it. Others may be quicker but you would only know it on a drag strip not the open roads.
