I have a small neon light inside my car, under the headunit, is it legal? When its on, it lights the front half of the car up..

no it is not legal. the only time you can use them LEGALLY is when your car is parked.
if you use them when your car is moving, expect a canary. |

Neon lights inside a car are ok so long as the tube is not visable to the out side
BUT Any Neon lights on the out side of the car is illlegal wether your parked down the street or driving down the street . The law was only changed a few mths ago as ppl where getting distracted by cars parked on the side of the road and haveing minor accidents
